Lift Yourself is a coaching programme dedicated to helping women develop a healthy and positive relationship with food and their bodies. We're here to empower you to break free from the constraints of diet culture, embrace self-love, and discover a balanced approach to wellness that encompasses both physical and mental wellbeing.

Our programme is designed for women who are tired of the limitations of diet culture and are seeking a more positive and balanced approach to health and wellness. If you're looking to cultivate a healthier relationship with food, your body, and yourself, this coaching programme is for you.

How do I book my first session?
Getting started is easy. Head to the services section of our website to schedule a free Unfold & Thrive session. This initial chat will help us understand your goals and needs, and together we'll create a personalised plan to embark on your journey towards a healthier and more positive relationship with food and your body.
What should I expect in my first coaching session?
In your free Unfold & Thrive Session, you'll be warmly welcomed into a supportive and safe space. We'll discuss your goals and challenges, and I'll introduce you to the 'Wheel of Life', we'll assess various life aspects, giving you clarity on your current state and aspirations. This interactive session is all about understanding your needs and starting to craft a personalised plan. Just come as you are, ready to take the first step on your transformative journey.
Do I need to prepare anything before my first session?
Once you have scheduled your first session, you will receive an invite to my client portal, if you want to carry out our session via video call then we will do it via this portal (as it’s super secure). I will also send you a copy of the Wheel of Life that you can take a look at, you can start to think about your answers but we will discuss and complete this together in your session.

What is your coaching philosophy?
My coaching philosophy at Lift Yourself Coaching is centred on female empowerment, full body and mental wellness, and personal growth. I believe in guiding clients to discover and embrace their own strengths and values, rather than prescribing one-size-fits-all solutions.
I focus on intuitive eating, helping clients to listen to and trust their bodies, and on fostering a positive relationship with food and body image. I also emphasise the importance of emotional well-being and stress management as integral parts of overall health.
At the core of my approach is the belief that each person is unique, and therefore, their path to wellness should be too. I strive to create a non-judgmental, supportive space where clients can explore, grow, and find balance in all aspects of their lives.
What tools or methods do you use in your coaching?
The initial tool we use will be the ‘Wheel of Life’ to help us breakdown the most important parts of your overall health and wellbeing. Once you have set your goals, I will use any relevant coaching tools I have available to help you.
Our coaching sessions are built on empathy and understanding. We'll discuss your challenges, set realistic goals, and explore strategies for cultivating a healthier relationship with food and your body. Our conversational and supportive approach ensures you feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout your journey.
How does your approach differ from traditional diet and fitness coaching?
What sets Lift Yourself apart is our holistic and empathetic approach. We follow a non-diet approach that focuses on the whole person, not just their physical health. Our coaching is rooted in self-love, authenticity, and empowerment, providing you with tools to navigate your wellness journey with confidence and positivity.
Our programme is not about restrictive diets or intense exercise regimens. We promote intuitive eating, gentle nutrition, and joyful movement. The goal is to find balance and nourishment that works for you, rather than adhering to rigid rules.

Our coaching sessions are personalised to your unique needs and goals. We'll work together to identify areas where you'd like to grow, develop healthier habits, and create a positive mindset. Through one-on-one guidance, resources, and support, we'll navigate your journey towards improved wellbeing.
What different coaching packages do you offer?
I offer three different options for coaching - my free Unfold & Thrive session, my 90 minute Empower & Engage session and my 3 month Journey to Joy package.
How long are the coaching sessions?
My sessions range from 45 minutes to 90 minutes.

How long does it typically take to see results?
The timeline for seeing results from coaching can vary greatly from one individual to another, as it depends on various factors including the nature of your goals, your commitment to the process, and how deeply ingrained certain patterns or behaviours are.
Many clients start to notice shifts in their mindset and small behavioural changes within the first few sessions. However, more significant and lasting transformations typically unfold over a longer period. On average, clients begin to see notable progress within 2 to 3 months of consistent coaching.
It's important to remember that coaching is a journey of personal development, and the most profound changes often take time to cultivate. Patience, commitment, and active participation in the process are key to achieving your goals.

Is Lift Yourself suitable for those who've struggled with body image issues?
Absolutely. Our coaching is founded on body positivity and self-acceptance. We understand the challenges of navigating negative body image, and our aim is to guide you towards embracing and celebrating your body for all that it is.
Can I join if I have a history of disordered eating?
Yes, but only if you have dealt with any ongoing issues with a licensed medical professional first. We're here to provide a safe and supportive space for individuals with various backgrounds. However, if you have concerns about how the programme might impact your recovery journey, it's always a good idea to consult with your healthcare provider before enrolling. If you are currently dealing with an active eating disorder then please do get in touch with BEAT Eating Disorder Charity for support.
What kind of support will I receive between sessions?
If you choose a 90 minute Empower & Engage session, you will receive 1 week of support via Whatsapp or the portal.
If you choose the Journey to Joy package, you will get a formal weekly check in but you will also have access to support via Whatsapp or the portal.
This support is available Mon-Fri between 9am - 5pm.

How much do your coaching services cost?
The Unfold and Thrive session is totally FREE!
The Empower & Engage 90 minute session is £149.
The Journey to Joy 3 month package is £599.
What payment methods do you accept?
Payments are taken via my client portal using Stripe, you can pay with your debit card, credit card, Google or Apply Pay.

How do you ensure client confidentiality?
Client confidentiality is of utmost importance at Lift Yourself Coaching. I am committed to creating a safe and trustworthy environment for all clients. Here are the key measures in place to ensure your confidentiality:
Privacy in Sessions: All coaching sessions, whether online or over the phone, are conducted in a private and secure environment to ensure that our conversations remain confidential.
Secure Data Handling: Personal information, session notes, and any communication are stored securely in the client portal. Only I have access to these records, and they are protected against unauthorised access.
Ethical Standards: I adhere to strict professional ethical standards, which include maintaining the confidentiality of all client information.
Clear Communication: At the outset, we'll discuss and agree upon what information is confidential and the rare exceptions where confidentiality might need to be breached, such as legal requirements or harm prevention.
Consent for Sharing: In instances where sharing certain information could be beneficial (e.g., with other healthcare providers), I will only do so with your explicit consent.
Your privacy and trust are fundamental to the coaching process, and I take all necessary steps to protect them.
My client portal is Practice Better and it is fully compliant with HIPAA, PIPEDA, PHIPA, and GDPR regulations.

Will my personal information be shared with any third parties?
When you sign up to a session or a package, I will request the details of an emergency contact.
I will only contact them if it is medically necessary. If I need to share your information with other medical parties then I do only with your express consent.
I will not share your details with any outside parties.

What technical requirements are there for online sessions?
Online sessions can be joined via a mobile phone, tablet, laptop or computer.
Do I need to download any software for virtual coaching?
I run sessions through the client portal ‘Practice Better’, this helps me to keep all your information in one place and it is also compliant with GDPR regulations. You will need to create a log in for the portal and download the app if necessary.
What should I do if I encounter technical issues during a session?
Hopefully this will not happen but in the rare event this happens, I have your contact details so I can call you directly. I will endeavour to rectify any issues as soon as possible.

What is your cancellation policy?
Client agrees to honour their scheduled appointment times and respect the schedule of the coach as they do their own. If an appointment needs to be rescheduled, the client will give a minimum of 24 hours’ notice, barring extraordinary circumstances. Communication regarding rescheduled or missed appointments is paramount in maintaining a healthy coaching relationship, and more than two “no-shows” may result in the coach ending the coaching relationship.
Coach reserves the right to bill Client for a missed meeting. Coach will attempt in good faith to reschedule the missed meeting.
If a Client is more than 10 minutes late for their scheduled appointment time, the Coach will assume the meeting has been forfeited and the Client will be billed.
