I’m the driving force behind Lift Yourself. My ultimate passion is empowering women to reshape their lives by embracing self-acceptance and genuine well-being through a non-diet approach to wellness.
My journey, much like yours, has been a battle against the constraints of diet culture and a quest for authentic balance. This personal experience fuels my unwavering commitment to coaching. With my Nutrition, Health & Wellness Coach Certification and a Level 3 personal training qualification, I bring a unique mix of expertise, real-life encounters, and genuine compassion to my coaching.
My approach centres around helping women find positivity, make peace with their bodies, and cultivate a healthy bond with both food and movement. In a world that bombards us with unrealistic ideals, I deeply understand the challenges we face. My guidance is rooted in empathy and a non-judgmental stance, ensuring you're supported every step of the way.

My journey makes me a relatable companion on your road to genuine well-being. I've faced the same pressures to conform to society's thin ideal. I've battled body image issues and cycled through every diet fad, all while seeking solace in food during emotional ups and downs.
My relationship with food became more complicated by pursuing a baking career while dealing with the grief from losing my Mum. This added layers to my struggles and deepened my understanding of the complexities of our relationships with food.
When I reached my heaviest weight, I shed pounds through strict regimens, I cut out carbs and exercised excessively. I even trained to be a personal trainer! All the while, I was grappling with binge-eating, poor self-esteem, and dissatisfaction. A lightbulb moment struck—I realised that dieting wasn't addressing my core issues with food.
As a personal trainer, I knew something had to change. Encouraging calorie counting and weight monitoring felt out of sync. A period of introspection led me to understand that my fixation on food and exercise was putting my life on hold.
And then came the revelation: intuitive eating, joyful movement, and the Health At Every Size philosophy. These principles resonated with me deeply—trusting my body's cues instead of external rules. I kissed meal tracking goodbye, embracing my body's hunger and fullness signals. With a newfound freedom to eat, my binge urges subsided.
I switched off my Fitbit, focusing on how movement made me feel. Did it spark joy? Did it boost my energy? Exercise, I realised, was about much more than just changing or sculpting your body.
Today, my coaching is all about intuitive eating, gentle nutrition, joyful movement, and body acceptance. We can embrace these principles without fixating on weight fluctuations.
I nourish my body with a range of foods, carbs included. My exercise routine is diverse—strength training, walks, jogs, and swims—all driven by love for my body, not a desire to alter it.
The journey to fully accepting my body is ongoing, but the steps I've taken have already begun to mend both my body and mind. Letting go of fad diets and extreme exercise has opened up a world of possibilities.
